Raised Ceiling Creates a Spacious Feeling
The client approached Arcwerks regarding the transformation of an existing juice bar business into a new cookie shop. Despite the challenges of an aged building, limited ceiling height and difficulty in routing ductwork to the exterior, the design team proposed exposing the existing structure to enhance the space’s height and overall feel. A perimeter soffit was added to help with the concealment of ductwork and conduit runs while leaving much of the customer space open to the structure above.

A disco ball was added to the sales area for a fun, stylish touch.
"A unique and challenging space that shows how smart and design solutions made the most of a small space."
- Manny Rodriguez, Project Manager, Arcwerks
